The Band
We are five guys who come together from different parts of the country in an attempt to create a wide variety of music based on the various forms of rock. Our range of music is diverse as we have three different band members creating songs in various styles. We don't target a specific audience - our main goal is to enjoy writing, experiment and hope that someone else enjoys the music as much as we do.
Originally formed in 2000, we have gone through a few changes before finally morphing into our current lineup. Since that time, we have recorded our third CD which is due out in February, 2008.
Please check our GIG SCHEDULE to find out where we are playing.
Venues Played
Fragment has previously played the following venues:
The Musicians
Chris Barrett (Guitars, Vocals)
Chris has been playing acoustic and electric guitars since he was a wee little one, and has played in bands from Georgia to Colorado (but nowhere in between).
Kevin Card (Bass)
Kevin is a Colorado native and has played bass around the Front Range for over twenty years. Kevin's other interests include fishing, the mountains, comedy, cooking, beer and plants.
Johnny Drozdek (Keyboards, Vocals)
Johnny once stepped on a bee with his bare feet. He was 7 years old and it etched a lifelong scar. Don't worry, Johnny knows that honey is still a tasty treat - especially on raisin toast. This info-bit has nothing to do with Fragment or music, and neither does Johnny's sock fetish, nor his quest to climb the 14er's. But at some level it's all connected and as long as there's music the bees won't scare Johnny.
Geoff Madding (Guitars, Vocals)
Geoff has played guitar for over 20 years; beginning with classical lessons when he was 6 and switching to electric guitar at 11. Born in Madison, WI, he has played with several bands from Madison to San Diego to the Front Range.
Justin Mirarck (Drums)
Justin's life can be summed up into one five letter word: MUSIC. He plays drums and guitar, but drums are his main instrument. He's in the process of starting a couple of side projects - Strange Luck and it's pronounced throat wobbler mangrove. He's a Colorado native and couldn't imagine living anywhere without mountains in view.
